The Biplast-V^® is a slide guide for modern machine tool construction, or other kinds of machines. It consists of an acetal resin slat (natural POM with special additives to improve properties), covered on the pasted side with a special synthetic fabric (STRETCH), making for an inseparable unity.

Biplast-V^® boasts excellent dry operation and sliding properties, with excellent resistance to wear, huge load capacity, and resistance to high temperatures.

Biplast-V^®‘s coverings have the advantage that the static and dynamic friction coefficients are practically the same, eliminating stick-slip effects. This makes high positioning precision at low forward-movement speeds in numerically controlled machines possible.
